A native of Brooklyn, New York, Mills has proven to be a treasure embedded in the fabric of the music. With a career spanning over 50 years, she began her professional career at the age of 11 with a Broadway run of “Maggie Flynn”, followed by securing the leading role of Dorothy in the Tony Award-Winning play “The Wiz”. She went on to be an award-winning recording artist, songwriter, actor, author, philanthropist, entrepreneur, and activist. Mills presents this new release with passion and sincerity reminiscent of the “house” sound that we all love.
